Hello and welcome to ‘Bravely being Me’. My name is Georgie Rainger, founder of this small business in the Yass Valley community. For close to two decades my background has been in special needs education. This included teaching in special needs schools and classes, learning support co-ordination and early intervention specialisation. I’m passionate about my work and my ongoing goal is to try to make some positive changes in the lives of children and families with neurodiverse challenges.
‘Bravely being Me’ is a service provider that predominantly works on supporting and targeting social, emotional, and inclusive educational supports for clients in early years and beyond. My focus is to not only work with my client’s goals, but to also work with their families, teachers and schools to ensure that the skills and strategies that are taught and learnt are used, practiced and communicated across all domains of the client’s life, not just in isolation of session times.
